Broadway fans, this one’s for you. One of the most iconic musicals in modern history is finally getting a big-screen adaptation—and Stanley is helping you celebrate. Whether you’re looking to channel your inner Elphaba or Glinda, these colorful Wicked cups are launching exclusively at Target on Sunday, October 13. Here’s what you need to know.
The Wicked Stanley cups won’t help you defy gravity, but they will keep your drinks at the ideal temperature. The 20-ounce cup keeps beverages cold for up to eight hours and iced for up to 30, while the larger 40-ounce tumbler stays cold for 11 hours and icy for up to two days. This impressive feat is all thanks to the cup’s double-wall vacuum insulation. Plus, both cups come with other smart features, like a reusable straw, three-position lid and dishwasher compatibility. (In our Stanley Quencher testing, we found that the lid can leak, so we recommend picking up some compatible flip-straw lids for peace of mind.)
Now, for the main act: the colors. Inspired by the two most popular witches in Oz, there’s both an Elphaba and Glinda design. The Elphaba Stanley cup features a glorious, ombre emerald hue and a subtle flying monkey detail. The Glinda cup is pink, of course, with a butterfly embellishment. Both cups offer a shimmery iridescence with pops of gold.
Anyone who’s a part of the Stanley craze understands that coveted patterns, colors and collabs make these cups a collector’s item. (After all, the Halloween Stanley cup sold out in mere days.) We expect that the Wicked tumblers will sell out well before the movie arrives in theaters on November 22, so act faster than a flying monkey if you want one.
The Wicked Stanley cups are exclusive to Target. You can pick up both the Elphaba and Glinda colorways in a 20-ounce and 40-ounce tumbler. They launch on Sunday, October 13 and cost $35 or $55, depending on the size.
